All dogs must be current on their vaccinations (DHLPPC, Bordetella (every 6 months) and
Rabies) and have had them at least 5 days prior to boarding. Because
we spend so much time outside playing, we also recommend Lymes and Giardia
vaccinations. Lymes is a disease carried by ticks and Giardia is a bacterium
that can be picked up from water such as rain or puddles.
*
All dogs must have a flat collar (no chains or chokers) that fits properly
on at all times. We recommend that your pet wear ID tags. (After all,
we did start out in pet rescue!) If your dog arrives without a collar
that can be worn at all times, you will be required to purchase one.
*
Boarding charges are $35 per day per dog. Additional charges apply for
administering medications, ear cleaning, dental care, non-housetrained
pets, in heat fees, etc. If your pet requires additional nursing or
behavioral care, above and beyond normal boarding care, there will be
an additional charge.
*
All dogs must be free of fleas and ticks upon arrival. We recommend
Frontline Plus to safely protect your dog from fleas and ticks. If fleas
or ticks are found on your pet, they will be treated as needed at your
expense.
*
Owners must bring food for each dog. Any dog that arrives without food
will be charged an additional fee of $5 per day. Immediate food changes
will upset your dog's digestive system and we do not recommend doing
this to your pet. If your dog runs out of food you will be charged a
trip fee of $10 to $20 plus the expense of the food.
*
We recommend that you bring a beach towel for your pet, so that we may
dry them off after their swim or if we get caught in the rain.
